Yeah I know, I know! It's been eight months (what's that?) EIGHT MONTHS since I last updated my blog and I do feel a pang of regret for not being regular. But can you blame me when life grabbed me by the collar and told me to pay attention? A lot has happened while I've been absent on my blog and most of it might not even make it here thanks in part to my forgetfulness and the occasional laziness. But have no fear, I will try to post (from time to time) most of the events that have occurred. God... so much has happened that I don't even know where to begin! But perhaps if I made a list of all the months since I stopped blogging up till now and write down a brief sketch of what basically happened in each month I think I'd be able to write most of my life down.
So lets see... my last blog post was published at the start of May of last year. Damn... that is a LONG time ago. Nevertheless, lets get down to making that list!
May 2012 - It's a good thing the list starts out with a month most of us college-going folks are familiar with as exam time so nothing of intrigue really happened besides my final A-Level examinations. The entire month felt like I was trying to make my way through a Wipeout obstacle course with an exam date at the end of nearly every week! But after many trials and tribulations I managed to make it out alive.
June/July 2012 - There's much and more to be said about the months of June and July. But I'd rather save it for another blog post. A brief sketch might not do it justice.
August 2012 - This was when I got my A-Level exam result and, man, was it the worst month of my life so far.
September 2012 -Spent mostly in silence and regular tuition for a subject I didn't do good at in my finals.
October 2012 - Tuition, tuition, tuition! Save for the occasional huffs and puffs here and there.
November 2012 - I've got a love-hate thing for this particular month. At the start of the month I faced what is hopefully the last CIE exam I'll ever have to give and at the end of the month my parents left for Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj (the holiest pilgrimage of Islam). Them leaving meant I had to the whole house to myself (minus my gramps, and my two brothers) for twenty days! I had so much fun in this month.
December 2012 - This was a peaceful month in which I got high nearly everyday either at home or with friends once or twice a week. And one of my good friends also celebrated his birthday party and it felt good to party after stoning for so long. Oh but I had a terrible New Year's Eve this year.
January 2013 - Here we are! Finally. This is the ongoing month and, surprisingly, it's all about family.
Anyway, the list is complete and I will get started on writing posts to better blog about the stuff that did and didn't happen while I was gone. Peace out.
